Being the President isn't easy!

As part of our social studies unit students are learning about the local, state and federal government. They wrote their own bills and tried to turn them into laws by acting out the legislative branch, judicial branch and executive branch. Our executive branch was pretty picky and some bills got the veto!

This student was interviewed on the duties and responsibilities of the federal government.

Students chose a department of the local government to become experts in by reading, creating posters and presenting to the class. Then they had to respond to different situations depending on which department would solve the problem.
