1. Spend time as a family playing games, relaxing and having fun!
2. Write your letter to Mrs. Skogstad telling her all the fun things you are doing!
3. Keep up on your math by doing the 2 week review, playing math games online or using your math book.
4. READ every day!!!!!!!!! You can get free prizes if you do the programs at the library and Barnes and Noble.
5. Use your portfolio to write a summer journal.

I am thrilled to be your teacher this year! We are going to learn so many amazing things together. Some of my favorite parts of third grade are meeting all of my students and learning about each other in our classroom community, singing multiplication songs, growing plants hydroponically, reading exciting adventures and writing powerful stories. This will be my third year teaching third grade, I previously taught first grade at Little Canada. My other roles at our school include gifted and talented lead teacher and coach of the 4th/5th/6th grade Future Problem Solving Program.
